Brighton Marathon - Sunday 9 April
Now in its 8th year, the marathon is expected to attract more than 15.000 participants cheered on by 100.000 onlookers. With a beautiful backdrop of the sea, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the Brighton seafront. The event gets bigger and bigger every year, and so also the celebrated clean air because of the road closures. The best way to beat these or to follow the runners along the race is to hire a bicycle from Brighton Station. There is a 24h key drop, so no need to rush back with the bike before the rental shop closes.
Prices from £7.
